I completed and submitted my grad school application on Saturday.
This morning I got a call from the Director of the Monroe County Department of Probation and Community Corrections. They want me. This is the job I tested for 4 years ago and wrote off months ago, before I was really excited about going back to school. I have 24 hours to decide my fate. I am profoundly confused and nauseous.

Well said Lola!!! T money - good job! It is amazing that just as we think we have a handle on what reality should be, fate has a way of smacking us right into confusion! I don't envy your choice my friend! I do know that you have wanted to be in probation since we were at ARI! Can't you do both? Or at least put off school until this 'new' job gets settled?
I am a firm believer in taking on way too much so I might not be the one to go with on this one...
P.S...it must have been my STELLAR recommendation that I gave them about 6 MONTHS AGO that helped :)

Just read on Scott's blog that you've accepted the job. Congratulations! I know it has been a long time coming. I'm sure the GS will miss you, but you deserve this. :)
Congrats on taking the job! I am so excited for you that you get to work a job you are passionate about - that is a real blessing.
