this or that?

I hate making big decisions. I have never been good at them. Not entirely sure why, but it is extremely frustrating. Maybe it's because my mom went through an irrational time when she didn't let us read these. If only I could catch a ride with him. Sure, that would take all the joy out of the "journey" but I could tolerate that better than being indecisive.

You weren't allowed to read Choose Your Own Adventure books?! I loved those!

BUT - I have to say, they may have been where the indecisive problem began, for me. See, I'd choose one adventure, read it through, and then go back and read a different one. Especially if I couldn't decide between two! It made it ... not really a decision at all.

Oh my gosh, I have two of those books on my shelf right now! I found them last year at the City School Dist. Book Depository giveaway. I used to love those books.

If you get desperate, you could always flip a coin. Then if you're disappointed with what comes up, you'll know to go with the other choice!
